Scott Hastings proves skatepark is on a roll

EX-SCOTTISH rugby ace Scott Hastings takes on a vert ramp at the award-winning Saughton Skatepark to celebrate the venue's latest accolade.

The skatepark received the Nancy Ovens Trust Award for Play earlier this autumn along with a bronze plaque.

Scott Hastings, son-in-law to the late Nancy Ovens and former Scotland rugby internationalist, said: "I grew up skateboarding in Edinburgh and every time I pass Saughton Park it is always packed. It is a brilliant facility and this award recognises the efforts of so many people that persevered to deliver a skatepark that leaves a lasting legacy."
