Scotland’s weather: Be prepared for more unsettled conditions

ACCORDING to the Met Office, the weather is set to stay unsettled for the coming week.

TODAY will see a continuation of humid, cloudy conditions, with temperatures reaching 20C on the Moray coast, while the central belt will see 17C to 18C.

Later on in the day an area of rain will push into the west, though there is a risk of light showers developing across the country generally.

TOMORROW will see a reversal of the conditions, with the rain moving into the east, while a northerly wind will banish the humidity, pushing temperatures down to the mid-teens. From Monday, the outlook is for showers and sustained periods of rain. Nothing as extreme as Thursday’s weather is anticipated.
