Science projects get a £400,000 boost

SOME 17 projects across Scotland are to receive a share of £400,000 from the Scottish Government's science engagement grant scheme, designed to get the public more interested in science.

The funding includes 300,000 for projects which take science to the general public and 100,000 for schemes which aim to strengthen pupils' experience of science in schools.
