School’s new hall is best bar none

Imogen Smyth, Beth Macrae and Louise Green, all 6, get to grips with some of the equipment as they try out the newly refurbished junior school hall at St George’s School for Girls.

The hall was officially opened by renowned Scottish mountaineer Di Gilbert following a lengthy refurbishment. As part of the work, one of the walls was covered in mirrors so it can be used as a dance studio by the pupils, and the refurbishment also saw the installation of a lateral climbing wall for the younger children.
