Schoolgirls’ abuser jailed for 18 months

A PERVERT who plied schoolgirls with drink and drugs before groping them has been jailed.

Andrew McCulloch, of 
Trafalgar Lane, Leith, got into bed with a 14-year-old girl while he was babysitting and put his arms around her body.

He also lay down beside a 12–year-old autistic girl in her bed and rubbed her under her pyjamas, and gave one youngster so much vodka and cannabis that she was physically sick.

McCulloch, 42, had earlier pleaded guilty to three charges and was jailed for eight months at Livingston Sheriff Court 
yesterday.

He will also be put under licensed supervision for 16 months on his release and has been adeed to the Sex Offenders’ Register for ten years.

Neither girl can be named for legal reasons, but the court was told that both were in his care at the time of the offences.
