Schoolchildren get in step for Africa appeal

SCHOOL pupils across the Capital have collected more than 90,000 pairs of shoes for Africa.

The shoes were gathered as part of the Shoe Aid for Africa Campaign.

They will be sent to Malawi later this month once they have been sorted and checked.

Taking part were pupils from Newcraighall Primary, Dalry Primary, Craigour Park Primary, George Heriot's School, St George's School for Girls, St Francis RC Primary and Royal Mile Primary.
