A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy who has raised thousands of pounds for charity has been shortlisted for an award alongside the likes of Jennifer Aniston, The Muppets and Barbie and Ken.
Jack Henderson, from Prestonpans in East Lothian, is behind the website Jack Draws Anything which has raised 23,000 for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
He has been shortlisted for .net magazine's social media campaign of the year. The other nominees are Batman, Jennifer Aniston's campaign for Smartwater and the It Gets Better project which was backed by Perez Hilton, Ke$ha and Jason Derulo.
Jack initially set up the website with the help of his father, Ed, to raise funds for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. His two-year-old brother Noah is regularly treated there for breathing problems.
Jack started selling his drawings on the internet and within two weeks had received more than 500 requests for pictures.
He quickly passed his original fundraising target of 100 and has become an internet sensation. His website has had around 200,000 visitors.
Jack said: "I can't believe it. I love the Muppets and Batman; and Ken and Barbie are famous from Toy Story. It's so cool."
