Scheme aims to give TV time to rising stars

ASPIRING TV stars can kick-start their careers with a free scheme at the Edinburgh International Television Festival.

Young people can win the chance to work alongside some of the UK's best production and creative teams, from Sky News, MTV and EastEnders.

The acclaimed industry-led scheme, The Network, is inviting applications for its event from 26 to 29 August.
