Saying I do to weddings at the Castle

IT boasts spectacular views and the oldest building in the Capital, so it was no surprise that the Edinburgh Castle Wedding Open Day attracted a steady stream of couples looking to tie the knot in style at the weekend.

Gordon and Kate Graham, from Ravelston, were among those examining the splendour of the 12th century Romanesque St Margaret’s Chapel, the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh, and one of five venues at the Castle.

The elegant Queen Anne Room, situated in the heart of the Castle, is also among the most sought-after.
