Santa suits charity runners

SANTA Claus and his many helpers are coming to Edinburgh by their hundreds, to help raise money for charity.

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) is appealing for people to join in the Edinburgh Christmas 5K Fun Run at Inverleith Park and the Royal Botanic Garden on December 4.

Kimberley Davidson, fundraiser for CHSS, said: “If you run for [us] you can register for only £8 and we will send you a free Santa suit.”

CHSS funds vital medical research and provides a range of local services for people with illness and their families, including 11 volunteer stroke service groups meeting in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
