Salmond challenged over £1m road fund

THE First Minister is being urged to reverse a decision to award £1 million of public money to fund an access route for a planned wind farm.

GreenPower (Carraig Gheal) Ltd proposes to build a 20-turbine wind farm east of Oban.

Community councillors, who have written to Mr Salmond, say the route should only be used for timber traffic.
