Ryan Wilson in court over Ally Maclay assault

The 24 year-old is alleged to have assaulted Ally Maclay, 29, on Great Western Road, Glasgow, on October 27.

Scotland international Wilson appeared in private on Thursday at Glasgow Sheriff Court on two assault charges.

He made no plea or declaration and was granted bail by sheriff Ian Miller.

It was previously reported three other players Rory Hughes, 20, Sean Maitland, 25 and Ryan Grant, 28, were due to appear in court over the alleged assault.

A Crown Office spokesperson said: “The Procurator Fiscal received a report relating to an incident involving one man aged 20, one aged 25 and another aged 28 alleged to have occurred in Glasgow on 27 October 2013.

“The report remains under consideration by the Procurator Fiscal”.
