Rush of blood at new exhibit

AN EXHIBIT which allows visitors to climb through giant replicas of human arteries has gone on display as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival.

The exhibit, Dr Clot's Blood-Curdling Adventure, is one of two exploring the human body at the City Art Gallery.

The other, Blood Bar, offers visitors the chance to explore the science of blood, as well as take a close look at the heart and lungs.

Dr Simon Gage, director of the festival, said: "Dr Clot and the Blood Bar are two great additions to the fantastic activities we offer families at the City Art Centre."
