Kris Boyd says Dave King should start acting like club chairman

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd says Rangers should focus on the positive developments happening at the club and not resort to mud slinging.

King said Celtic had only won two titles despite the Parkhead club notching up six titles in a row.

The Rangers chairman says some of Celtic’s titles don’t count because Rangers weren’t in the top flight.

He said: “But here’s the thing — when is Dave King going to start acting like chairman of Rangers Football Club, and not some fan dragged out of the Broomloan Road stand?”

Rangers to complete signing of Graham Dorrans

Pedro Caixinha hopes to be given the go-ahead to sign Graham Dorrans on Tuesday.

Rangers have made multiple bids for the Scotland cap but so far have not hit Norwich City’s asking price.

A bid of just over £1.3million with future add-ons is currently on the table and will be discussed by the Canaries board today. (Express)

Halliday told his time at Rangers is up

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has informed midfielder Andy Halliday that he is surplus to requirements at the club for the upcoming campaign.

The 25-year-old has been told that he can leave the SPL side on loan and it is understood that the midfielder has been ordered to train with the Under-20 squad when the team report back to training on Monday morning. (Sun)
