Neil Lennon favourite for Hibs job

Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon has emerged as one of the leading contenders to replace Alan Stubbs as Hibs manager.

The Northern Irishman, who led the Parkhead side from 2010-2014, was in the running for the Hoops job before they opted for Brendan Rodgers instead.

He’s now one of the bookies’ favourites to become the next Hibernian manager, with Alan Stubbs set to leave Easter Road for Rotherham United. (Evening Times)

Rotherham confirm appointment of Alan Stubbs

Rotherham United have officially confirmed the appointment of Alan Stubbs as their new manager.

Stubbs, who guided Hibs to Scottish Cup glory just 11 days ago, has signed a three-year contract.

He will be joined at Rotherham by John Doolan, his assistant at Easter Road. (Scotsman)

Celtic face battle to keep Roberts

Relegated Premier League teams Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Norwich City are all tracking Celtic’s on loan winger Patrick Roberts.

The 19-year-old has 12 months left on a 18-month loan deal after joining the Scottish Champions from Manchester City in February.
