The organisation is firing up an early recruitment drive to give locals a new way to spend their evenings.
To make it easier for potential members to find out more about getting involved with their local Round Table, the organisation has released a new dedicated recruitment contact to help with the process, with anyone interested being encouraged to e-mail [email protected]
Jason Thomson, from Round Table, said: “With children back at school and adults returning to work after taking time off for holidays, men typically look for new social activities as the dark evenings draw in, scuppering any outdoor after-work plans.
“As well as personal development skills, such as speech writing and public speaking, City of Edinburgh Round Table offers a wide range of social activities, opportunities for local men to network and the chance for members to give something back to their local area by organising community events. It’s also a fun way to relax.”
