Rock Trust hits jackpot

A CITY charity that works with vulnerable young people has been given a significant cash boost to expand its reach and services.

The Rock Trust, which provides help to homeless and socially excluded people aged 16 to 25, received 625,208 from the Big Lottery Fund's Investing in Communities programme.

The money will be used to develop the charity's Compass Project, a scheme aimed at providing a package of support for around 390 people who may have left care, have a history of crime or are homeless.
