Rhodesian ridgeback pup rescued by coastguards

THE Rhodesian ridgeback called Crouton had been on a walk with its owners at the cliffs at Durness when it disappeared down the steep embankment.

Shetland Coastguard received a 999 and launched two coastguard teams to rescue the pup.

One of the crew abseiled down the cliff face and the animal was found safe and well and uninjured.
