'Retirement village' bid

A THREE-acre site that is earmarked for a 'retirement village' has been put on the market.

Property firm Rettie & Co is selling the site, just outside East Calder in West Lothian.

The brownfield site currently contains two industrial buildings but outline planning consent is in place for a 24-unit village aimed at retired people.
