Residents offered free energy efficiency guide

Portobello residents are being offered advice on how to stay warm and save money in a free energy guide.

The 12-page booklet has been produced by PEDAL – Portobello Transition Town, and has been written by energy experts with funding from the Scottish Government’s Climate Change Fund.

The guide answers a number of frequently-asked questions and identifies key aspects of the household where energy can be lost or saved, including appliances, water usage and choice of supplier.

The booklet is available at www.pedal-porty.org.uk and at Portobello Library, Portobello Community Centre, Earthy, Woodwares, Citizens Advice Bureau and Portobello Market.
