Residents fear new planning changes

Residents opposed to a runway extension at George Best City Airport fear proposed planning changes will make it easier to pass the development.

Liz Fawcett, spokeswoman for Belfast City Airport Watch, said: "It's quite wrong for the Department of the Environment, which is meant to protect our environment, to be proposing that environmental concerns should be brushed aside in this way."
