The firm also said in its latest corporate review that the early indications were that 2016 could outstrip that performance.

Notable among the deals completed by the firm were FanDuel – one of Scotland’s two tech companies recently valued at more than $1 billion (£694 million) – in its $275m equity financing, and the sale of healthcare device maker Aircraft Medical to Medtronic for $110m.
Energy and renewables were another area of focus for the firm, and it continued to act as lead adviser to REIF in relation to its significant equity and project finance investment into the MeyGen tidal array project.
The deal, seen as critical for the marine and tidal sector and Scotland’s profile as an innovator in the development of marine energy, was the world’s first commercially financed tidal project.
