Read up on Library Link

CELEBRATIONS have been held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Capital’s Library Link service.

Under the scheme, a bus service is offered to anybody who has trouble getting to their library because of age, disability or ill health, and a volunteer helps them while inside the library.

It was launched in Muirhouse Library in 1992, and proved so successful that it has been adopted by nearly every library in Edinburgh.
