Rape investigation is dropped by police

Police looking into claims that a woman was raped in a city centre lane said they are no longer investigating the matter.

Strathclyde Police said that after further inquiries were carried out, the incident in Glasgow's Goosedubbs Lane is no longer being investigated. Officers said a woman will be the subject of a report being sent to the procurator-fiscal.
