Ransome play comes to city

THE critically-acclaimed Bristol Old Vic production of Swallows and Amazons will come to Edinburgh later this month.

Based on the book by Arthur Ransome, the musical play is touring the UK until May 19 after its West End Christmas run.

Performances will take place at the city’s Festival Theatre from January 31 to February 4.

It is directed by Tom Morris, artistic director of Bristol Old Vic and co-director of the National Theatre’s War Horse.
