Raise a glass to Best Bar None pubs

PUBS and clubs have been honoured for helping to create safer venues for their
customers.

The Best Bar None scheme, which has been running throughout the Lothians, is a partnership between councils and emergency services.

Venues in West Lothian were honoured last week, a month after 21 licensed premises from Leith received awards at the city chambers.

West Lothian Provost Tom Kerr said: “I was delighted to have been invited to present some of the Best Bar None awards and I would like to congratulate all of the establishments who were accredited.

“The establishments have to achieve high standards to receive a plaque and a certificate which they can display in their premises.”
