Rail incident witness plea

British Transport Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a disturbance on board a train travelling between London and Edinburgh.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed an incident on board the 4.30pm London King’s Cross–Edinburgh Waverley service on Sunday to contact them if they have any information which they believe could assist the investigation.

When the train arrived at York rail station, three men, aged 41, 47 and 52, and a 48-year-old woman, all from Edinburgh, were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. All four were released on police bail until July 15, pending further inquiries.
