Rabbie’s reaches milestone on journey to being green

Rabbie’s Small Group Tours has scooped an award at the Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (VIBES) Awards 2011.

The Edinburgh-based business won the Changing Behaviour Award at the ceremony held at The Hub in Edinburgh recently.

The prestigious awards recognise the commitment, action and achievement of Scottish companies in reducing their impact on the environment.

Rabbie’s offers a small group tour programme to Scotland and the North of England. The company aims to minimise the environmental footprint of its customers, and maximises the economic and social benefits to the local communities it visits.

Robin Worsnop, Rabbie’s chief executive, said: “It is an honour to win a VIBES Award. This is great recognition for our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.
