Pupils’ skills set in stone

Telford College has helped deliver a training course to school pupils showing how they can help preserve the future of Scotland’s heritage buildings.

Drummond High pupils were among the first to complete the course, which saw them learn skills in plastering, marbling, joinery and stonemasonry.

The college worked in partnership with the Citadel Youth Centre, Edinburgh World Heritage, Historic Scotland and the city council to help deliver the Heritage Skills training course.
