Pupils are up to the mark

FOUR pupils who gained 100 per cent in their modern studies Highers this year were set to be presented with certificates at the Scottish Parliament today.

George Watson's College pupil Caitlin Fitzgerald was one of the youngsters who achieved the top grades.

She was due to pick up her award as modern studies teachers from across Scotland came together to discuss the range of issues and challenges they face.
