Public to act on the threat of terrorism

POLICE are offering members of the public the chance to become a counter-terrorism officer for the day during a seminar at the City Chambers next month.

Act Now is an exercise which places members of the community in the role of the police.

Participants will be presented with scenarios and asked to judge the most appropriate action for each one.
