Psalv heads to Holyrood

A CHARITY in Edinburgh supporting people with a painful skin condition has struck a deal to meet four times a year at the Scottish Parliament.

Psalv has lobbied to gain more recognition of the risks and impact of psoriasis among politicians and health agencies.

Now a cross-party group has been established, convened by MSP Dave Thompson, with former health minister Malcolm Chisholm as vice-convener. It will meet in a bid to push the condition up the political agenda.
