£9m to give young Scots a head start

A FUND of £8.9 million has been set up in Scotland to help tackle youth unemployment, using money from dormant bank accounts.

The Young Start fund has been developed by the Big Lottery Fund (BIG). Organisers said it would help children and young people to be more confident, while preparing them for getting a job or starting a business.
