£3 Ecstasy tablet costs electrician dear

A MAN has been fined £330, left out of work and denied a dream trip abroad – because of a single tablet of Ecstasy worth just three pounds.

Apprentice electrician Grant Summors, 21, was caught with the pill as he tried to get into the T in the Park music festival.

He immediately had his £200 ticket taken away.

Summors, from Inglis Farm, Cockenzie, admitted possessing Class A drug Ecstasy when he appeared in the dock at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday. Since the incident he has struggled to find an employer to take him on and had to cancel plans to visit Australia as he would be denied entry due to his conviction.
