£1m paid in bongo prizes

BINGO firm Mecca Leith Capitol has paid out £1 million in prize money between January and June, it has been announced.

Nationally, the company has confirmed that winnings worth £26.4m had been distributed to customers, contributing to a national club, online and mobile total of nearly £164m.

Mark Harrington, general manager of the Edinburgh outlet, said: “To pay out £1m worth of prize money to our customers in just six months is fantastic. There’s always a brilliant atmosphere in club when someone wins and other customers are genuinely happy for the winner – there’s a real sense of excitement and 
camaraderie.”
