£100k rooted out to repair Garden mess
THE storm-battered Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh has received a funding boost of more than £100,000 from the Scottish Government.
The government has announced funding of £128,183 to help tackle urgent repairs across the Botanics’ four sites.
Rural Affairs Secretary Richard Lochhead MSP said: “As well as seeing trees uprooted, the damage to the glasshouses has left priceless collections at risk of being destroyed or damaged.”
