£10,000 reward for coins' return

A PENSIONER is offering a £10,000 reward after his coin collection, built up over almost 40 years, was stolen.

David Pearson left his Edinburgh home for an hour-and-a-half on Monday, but returned to find his coins, worth 50,000, had been taken. Nothing else had been removed.

The 67-year-old said: "Everything was untouched, the house wasn't ransacked. They had gone straight for the bag with the coins in it."
