Protesters take account of RBS losses

MEMBERS of the Occupy Edinburgh protest returned to the streets of the Capital yesterday as part of the national Move Your Money campaign aimed at encouraging people to shift their savings to an ethical bank.

The protesters gathered outside the Royal Bank of Scotland at the west end of Princes Street yesterday – as the bank revealed it had made annual losses of £2 billion – with one cutting up his bank card in protest at the bank funding the oil sands industry in Alberta.
