Protect shop staff call

A LOTHIANS MSP is backing calls for more measures to protect shopworkers from abuse.

Mary Mulligan supported a special event in the Scottish Parliament by the Shopworkers Union Freedom From Fear Campaign. She said: "I am shocked that there has been a 78 per cent increase in violence and abuse against shopworkers over the last three years."
