Prosecutor set to have a ball

A PROSECUTOR from the east of Scotland is to play a vital role at this summer’s Olympic Games.

Faith Millar has been appointed as one of three 
Football Liaison Prosecutors 
to advise and assist in the policing of matches being played at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

She said: “Having followed the preparations from the very beginning and I am very much looking forward playing my part in what promises to be a spectacular series of events.”

The Lord Advocate, Frank Mulholland QC, said: “I am delighted that our specialist prosecutors have been given the opportunity to play their part in what promises to be 
an exciting and enjoyable Olympics.

“The eyes of the world will be upon us during these matches.”
