Property values high on a Hill

Properties with the word Hill in their address are typically worth more than twice as much as ones located on a Street, research indicated today.

The average cost of a home on a Hill is 341,466, well above the national average of 217,624, while homes on a Street are typically 155,515.

Living on a Lane also appears to boost value, with house cost averaging 328,378, followed by houses on a Mews at 294,869. Park and Green were also favoured.

At the other end of the scale with Street were Terrace and Crescent.
