Proceeds seized from crime funds sports facilities

NEW sports facilities have been built in Scotland with £8 million that was stripped from criminals.

The Scottish Government has invested in a range of projects including pitch, lighting and indoor facilities, which were identified after discussions with the Scottish FA and sportscotland.

It is hoped they will enhance the provision and development of football in communities.

The new facilities include state of the art 3G pitches being delivered across the country, most recently in Haddington and Banks O’Dee.
