Problem-solving projects make top 50 ‘radicals’ list

Two community projects from Edinburgh have been praised by the Prime Minister for inspiring work which is changing the UK for the better.

Workingrite and the Homeless World Cup have been included in Britain’s 50 New Radicals, a list to highlight and celebrate the people and organisations that are finding practical new solutions to some of society’s biggest problems.

The projects were selected from more than 350 applications, and David Cameron said: “The people and organisations recognised today have all made extremely valuable contributions to their communities. They’ve made projects happen, bringing about genuine and positive change.”
