Probe after body found

Forensic teams were this morning working at the scene, in Pyothall Road, Broxburn, after the body was discovered at around 4.45am.

A police spokesman said: “Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in the street in Pyothall Road, Broxburn, at around 4.45am.

“His death is being treated as suspicious and anyone who can assist with our inquiries is asked to contact police immediately. A male has currently been detained in connection with this incident.”
