Princess cuts cord on new port housing

The Princess Royal was set to open a new affordable housing development in Leith today.

The Port of Leith Housing Association (PoLHA) 60-flat Quayside development at Coburg Street comprises a mix of 44 social rented and 16 shared ownership properties.

The Princess Royal was expected to visit the home of Robert Gilchrist, who recently moved into his two bedroom apartment overlooking the Water of Leith with his son Liam.
