PRINCE Harry requested that a specially designed secret pocket be sewn into his wedding outfit - to avoid any chance of him losing the ring.
The prince is said to have been worried that with no pocket in his Blues and Royals military outfit, the wedding ring risked being dropped during the journey from Clarence House to Westminster Abbey.
It is customary for the best man to carry the ring in his trouser or jacket pocket, but Harry's slimline suit made this impossible.
Tailor Kashket & Partners, who made both Harry's and the Duke of Cambridge's wedding attire, as well as the page boys' outfits, were brought in to solve the problem and made a discreet pocket to hold the ring.
A spokesman for Kashket & Partners said: "The royal brothers wanted the day to run effortlessly smoothly and decided this would be the best option."
