Prince Charles returns to Dumfries House
Charles will visit Dumfries House Estate in Cumnock this afternoon to open a new education space.
The Prince, known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, will officially open the new Morphy Richards Engineering Education Centre at the estate.

Hide AdThe centre works to boost learning among primary and early secondary students in the STEM subjects - science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The centre, which links up with organisations such as ScottishPower, UTC Aerospace Systems and electronics company Selex-ES, runs programmes designed to help schools across Ayrshire and further afield by delivering activities linked to the subjects.
Charles will unveil a commemorative plaque during the visit and meet students and representatives from Morphy Richards.
He will return to the estate tomorrow for a further engagement.
Built between 1754 and 1759, Dumfries House is set in 2,000 acres of land near Cumnock and is acknowledged as one of the most architecturally significant stately homes in the UK.
In his capacity as Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, Charles headed a consortium of charities and heritage bodies which bought the house and its land in 2007.
The purchase stopped the house, contents and estate from being broken up. Dumfries House was opened to the public for the first time in 250 years in summer 2008.
Charles has since been a regular visitor to the estate.
