Prime Minister reveals gifts after birth of fourth child

David Cameron was given hundreds of pounds' worth of gifts after the birth of his fourth child in August, it was revealed last night.

The Prime Minister received presents from Marks & Spencer, babywear firm Huggababy and the Crown Prince of Dubai.

All were held by the government under ministerial rules, however, except part of the Crown Prince's gift, which Mr Cameron purchased in order to keep personally.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg received one gift during August and September - a briefcase from South African deputy president Kgalema Motlanthe, which he did not keep.
