Price increase but The Scotsman still 75p with subscription

READERS will already have noticed that, with regret, we have had to increase the price of The Scotsman from today. It is a move made due to a number of circumstances brought about by the extremely challenging economic environment which still prevails.

From today, the price of The Scotsman is £1.10 Monday to Friday without a subscription. But we still believe the top-quality news, sport, comment and analysis that marks The Scotsman as Scotland’s leading quality newspaper – and 2012’s Scottish Newspaper of the Year – provides good value for money.

But there is a way that you can get even more oustanding value. If you take out a subscription now, the price of the paper will be held at 75p – that’s 32 per cent off. And if you take us up on our offer by 5pm today, you will also get £25 in Marks & Spencer vouchers. A subscription also gets our iPad app free.

As a new subscriber, you will also be rewarded with a “thank-you” card with which you can obtain discounts at hundreds of shops and businesses throughout Scotland.

For full information on our subscription offer, see page 16 of today’s paper.

Whether in print, mobile, tablet or desktop, The Scotsman still provides the best daily coverage of Scottish affairs.

We hope you will take advantage of our offers, and we hope that you will continue to enjoy the comprehensive package that is Scotland’s leading quality newspaper.
