Pouring effort into charity

THE city office of an urban planning and design consultancy has launched its support for a charity with a quirky afternoon tea party.

Turley Associates chose Aberlour Child Care Trust as its charity partner for the next two years.

Staff launched the partnership in style with what is set to be an annual event – the Turley Associates Tea Party.

The firm’s clients and contacts paid £5 to attend the event at Turley Associates’ office in George Street and join in the fun, which included Wimbledon viewing, a British Bake-Off style competition, a table tennis tournament and servings of Pimms from a teapot.

A total of £606 was raised.
